All along the Treasure Coast, there are many things to do and places to visit. Some of our favorite places are Melbourne, Sebastian, Vero Beach, and Port St. Lucie. There are great beaches, good restaurants, and entertainment for everyone in all of these cities.

Starting in Melbourne, a great place to visit is the Brevard Zoo. This is a fun family event that can be enjoyed by everyone. There are giraffes, rhinos, big cats, and hundreds of parrots of all colors. There are also interactive experiences that include feeding the giraffes and birds. For children, there is a water play area and you are able to kayak around animal habitats!

Traveling down the treasure coast, your next stop would be Sebastian. There are many great places to visit but if you’re hungry and want to relax at the beach, the best place to visit is Capt Hiram’s Sandbar. During the week there is calming music with more relaxed musicians. During the weekends, there is live music on 2 stages and many of the best artists and bands perform here. There is good food and drinks and all of it can be enjoyed on the water.

As you travel further down the Treasure Coast, you’ll find Vero Beach, a calming beach town. If you’re looking to spend some time in the sunshine, visiting Paddles by the Sea is a great way to do this! They offer paddle board and kayak rentals, jet ski tours, private boat tours, and beach chairs with cabanas. Paddles by the Sea is offered at a few different locations including the marina behind Riverside Cafe, Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel and Spa, Holiday Inn & Suites Oceanside, and Costa d’ Esta.

If you’re looking for some evening fun in Vero Beach, Riverside Theatre offers many different options. There is Live in the Loop, Comedy Zone, and performances at the theatre! Every Friday and Saturday night there is Live in the Loop at Riverside Theatre, a chill environment with food and drinks, and live music from the most talented musicians in Vero Beach. The Comedy Zone is a funny, great night out with friends listening to stand-up comedians on select Friday and Saturday nights all year round. In between these events, there are musical productions year-round at the children’s theatre and main theatre.

The last place to stop on the Treasure Coast would be Port St. Lucie. This is the home of the New York Mets during Spring Training. Clover Park is a great place for family fun during baseball season, and it is also used for concerts, festivals, and events.

The Treasure Coast has many opportunities for family fun and evening activities. If you choose to build your home with Passage Island Construction, you will be happy and entertained anywhere you choose to live on the treasure coast.
